Our Story
Where Heritage Meets Innovation
LizArtworks Finland OY is a creative company rooted in cultural exchange, sustainability, and design innovation. Established in 2005 as LizArtworks Uganda Limited, the brand began as a platform for handcrafted textiles, beadwork, and artistic expression inspired by African heritage.
In 2022, LizArtworks expanded into the Nordic region through Åland, opening a new chapter of cross-cultural collaboration and design exploration. In 2024, the company was officially registered in Turku as LizArtworks Finland OY, strengthening its presence in Finland while continuing to build international creative connections.
Today, LizArtworks Finland OY operates at the intersection of sustainable fashion, textile printing, cultural projects, and creative education. The company combines African craftsmanship with Nordic design sensibilities, creating products and experiences that celebrate identity, creativity, and responsible production.
Our work spans multiple areas including fashion and accessories, African beaded jewelry, textile-based home items, upcycled and recycled designs, and custom garment printing services for businesses, schools, and events. Beyond products, LizArtworks also collaborates with educational institutions, cultural organizations, and community initiatives to develop workshops, exhibitions, and creative programs that encourage dialogue between cultures.
